Mother’s Day Weekend at a Lake House In Lake Hopatcong, NJ

We discovered this hidden gem on Airbnb and what a delightful find it was! Our stay over Mother’s Day weekend at the Lake Front Home Stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Steven, our gracious host, made us feel right at home. The suite on the 2nd level with a private entrance offered stunning views of the lake and was the perfect retreat for water sports enthusiasts like us. The abundance of water sports equipment available, including mountain ebikes, truly made our stay unforgettable.

We spent our days relaxing in the hot tub, cooking delicious meals on the grill, and gathering around the fire pit for cozy evenings. One of the highlights was the enclosed glass deck with a hammock, where we could easily lose ourselves in the tranquility of the surroundings. Steven went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable, taking us on a thrilling jet ski tour of Lake Hopatcong and even braving the chilly weather for a swim in dry suits. Our 7-year-old declared it as the best Airbnb stay ever, which speaks volumes! We are already counting down the days until we can return to this idyllic getaway.
